The leading distributor of electrical supplies in the world, Rexel was acquired from luxury goods conglomerate Pinault-Printemps-Redoute (now known as the PPR Group). Rexel serves three main end markets: industrial, commercial and residential. It is listed on the Eurolist market of Euronext Paris (compartment A, ticker RXL, ISIN code FR0010451203). CD&R operating partner Roberto Quarta serves as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Rexel.
